On November 13, 2014, KPN Green and L.D.S. Metal Work Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to purchase, supply and design electrical power and control & instrument system for conveyor for HSPP Ash and Gypsum Handling System Project at Hongsa Power Plant, Lao PDR. The construction of the project has been scheduled to start in August 2014 and to end around April 2015.
“Hongsa Thermal Power Plant is the largest lignite-fired power plant in Laos, located in Hongsa district, Xayaburi province, Laos, with a capacity of 1,878 MW.”
It will produce electricity to mainly supply to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).
